PROFLIGHT is a well-established manufacturer of professional lighting: its products are positioned in the highest range of the market in terms of technology, quality of materials, finishes and reliability.
To maximize their full potential, these elements require an extremely accurate installation service, which therefore becomes a critical point for transmitting the success factors of the product to the customer.
In the specific case of some of their high-end adjustable spotlights, the installation can take place either through a team of qualified installers selected by PROFLIGHT, or independently by the end user.
In both cases, the installation becomes crucial
to ensure the correct execution of all the operating options of the spotlights.
PROFLIGHT therefore decided to contact our Industrial Design Studio to create a video for installation instructions that was both precise and intuitive.
First of all, we carefully analysed the goal of the video: our steady attention to the Value for the Customer has brought out the opportunity to give the video both a technical and commercial cut, to effectively show, together with the necessary technical instructions, all the potential of the product, to maximize the User Experience.
To do this we went beyond the “limits” of the physical object, reconstructing it in 3D and animating it virtually: this allowed us to clearly show parts of the product that would otherwise have been hidden, and to highlight with immediate understanding every functioning mode.
Our transversal skills, which include technical knowledge on the structural and functional characteristics of the products we design, specific 3D reconstruction skills, storyboard and video editing, combined with the use of advanced software such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro, allowed us to create a highly accurate and at the same time very pleasant and effective rendered video: this has brought a success beyond all expectations, which not only optimized and enhanced the installation phase of the product, but also had a positive impact on the corporate image, further qualifying the PRFOLIGHT brand.
