Design is an activity that experiments with elements obtained by dynamism.

The fact that we must constantly adapt to constant updates of market, encourages us to cultivate new ideas.

Not only our industry, but also everyday life in general, requires constant adaptation, requiring the creation of new solutions.

Taking inspiration from a now common use and owned object as smartphone it is possible to note how in a short period of time a tool with the best capabilities, has been under rapid pressure not only at technological level but also aesthetic.

The innovations introduced generally arouse wonder and curiosity on the part of its users, but the emotion is quickly replaced by indifference. The feeling of novelty that man feels for something never seen lasts for a very short time, which is why the consumer changes his mood towards the good sinking into a sense of indifference. From this concept the new model is not limited to its singularity, but on the contrary, it makes it necessary to add secondary elements that raise the constant need to update the appearance of your object through small elements: accessories.

Covers, phone holder, selfie sticks and car stands have created a new market sector in which we designers have been able to create useful and lasting ideas.

Playing with materials, technology and figures, our studio has created multi-purpose products to meet the “need” for smartphone using 3D printing technologies, designing a multifunctional pen holder. The Totem, so called for the various forms available, and the Hedgehog are two of many examples of how our passion is involved in a dynamic and flexible spiral, guaranteeing us a continuous productivity of our minds.

The simplicity of our solutions encompasses great engineering and design skills, demonstrating how even a common object can be transformed into something innovative.

The evolution must not remain confined to the technologies but must also adapt to human and environmental respect.

We at Eros Angelini S.r.l. are constantly committed to following the circular economy model to develop and design solutions that aim for sustainability.

An example is the cutlery made in Mater-bi for the company Vicenza ECOZEMA. The product has managed to become a leader in the sector, to the point of being present at the 2010 London Olympics. Our studies have come to surprising results, especially about the analysis of the material that they are made of, as it is what really guarantees a strategy aimed at sustainability.

Our studio is committed to the concept of health, not only environmental but also human, which is why we are committed to personally contributing to make the world a better place.

3D printing is a powerful technology that can be used and possessed by everyone, letting them create different version of their object starting from their ideas.

In our studio can be found two 3D printing that are used to concretize thoughts that are still intangible.

Now we are going to tell you how!

These machines give not only intellectual advantages, but they create financial savings. The possibilities to see realized a piece of product or a project prototype, guarantee to customers and our team the opportunity to study in detail new upgrades and modifications before the definitive production of the good.

One fundamental step is to make optimized and functional files for the new addictive technologies, we learned this kind of skills trough the constancy use of them.

Another point to consider is about what addictive technologies choose and how to put it together to obtain the final prototype in order to be always nearer to the final product. Even if machines are of the last generation, human intervention is necessary “even with competence” to assemble, refinish and decor models.

It’s always more common to use these technologies to create pre-series or series products. The materials available on the market are numerous, in fact they differ to medical to technological products resistant to chemical agents.

3D printing is the realization of analysis made following the mind, idea, sketch, thinking process, design and engineering skills model.

Our aim is to maximise results using advanced technologies…this is design.

All of this supports our “starting by the end” philosophy, that made us proud of it. Environment is glad and thanks us confirming our green attitude.

With our skills we study the disposal process of final products, finding raw materials and the perfect production processing to simplifying it. We also assure the facilitation of the process pushing consumers to adopt green-attitude.

“After” mustn’t be considered the last step, instead, the final usage can be metaphorically related to the mythical figure of phoenix, she reborn from its ash, as the project gives the assumptions to relive from its raw materials.

The good designer is remembered not only for the style it differentiates him, but also for the mind who can abolish superficiality and borders to utility.

Finding the right balance between aesthetic appeal and detailed, rigorous description
is the key to making your products’ technical communication effective.

This is the case, for example, with Transfer Oil, a leading high-pressure hose company, who contacted our Industrial Design Studio to renew and update their website. Transfer Oli’s goal was to have their customers quickly, effectively, and realistically perceive certain technical details of the hoses, such as diameter, internal structural reinforcement, and new logo laser marking.
To achieve this goal, we created renderings specifically designed to be able to represent the various tube reinforcements in detail, thus avoiding the need to dissect the actual specimens (which paradoxically would have been less effective).

Thanks to our technical expertise and advanced tools,
we have created faithful and strongly communicative images that focus attention on truly useful details without dispersion.

Transfer Oil appreciated this approach, validating it for all the tubes on the site (more than 500!): in order to minimize the execution time, we made a database of all the articles to identify the elements in common, and we organized the graphic file (Keyshot®) to optimize the representation of the repetitive features (materials, colors, etc.): in this way we were able to manage all the tubes working on only a little less than 60 articles.

The overall view of the result allowed us to suggest to Transfer Oil that they add on their site the possibility of enlarging the images, in order to view them in detail, a suggestion promptly received with satisfaction.

It was in this year that Eros Angelini took his first steps as a designer in a garage in Venice. The first sketches, the first customers…

The beginning of an activity that has accompanied us – literally – for a lifetime.

One of his first jobs was a professional blender, an object as useful as complex: already on that occasion Eros transformed an idea into a winning product.

Over time we have realized that in addition to being successful, the products designed by our Industrial Design Studio are also extremely long-lived: it frequently happens that we still see in use (and with high sales volumes!) products that we have designed 10, 15 or even 20 years ago.

This time we are facing a truly unique case: right that blender designed by Eros

more than 30 years ago was exposed in the SIRMAN stand during the SIGEP exhibition in Rimini!

Surprised (but not too much), Eros had a chat with Nereo Marzaro, who commissioned the product at that time, and still leads the company today together with his family.
A beautiful and cordial meeting, full of memories of the past and ideas for the future.
And in the middle – in the present – this blender “vintage 1993”, which regardless of the decades is still gaining success on the market.
